Mosby’s Point Mobile Home Park in Florence, Kentucky has no electricity. And it will be a while until they get it back. Meanwhile, the residents are left to cope with excessive heat and no air-conditioning.

Huntington Shorecliff’s Mobile Home Park is filing a lawsuit against the City of Huntington Beach, California over recent flooding at the park. The park contends that the city drainage pipes are too small to handle the volume of water that occurs during extensive rains. They are seeking at least $1 million in damages. Read more »

A Catoosa, Oklahoma woman has been arrested for the theft of a mobile home. 35-year old Jennifer Welch was booked on charges of grand larceny in this case.
The owner of the mobile home had it listed for sale, and was shocked when they received a deposit refund for removing the home. They immediately called the police. Read more »
The Ventura County Superior Court has dismissed a lawsuit filed by the residents of Canejo Mobile Home Park against the City of Thousand Oaks, California.
The residents had filed a suit seeking more relocation money, as the park is being re-developed and all residents must move out. Read more »

The owners of Napa Olympia Mobilodge in American Canyon, California, are suing the city to cause it to convert the mobile home park from seniors only to an all-age community. In 2006, owner Ken Waterhouse announced he would lift the age restrictions at the park. And it has been nothing but posturing, city measures to block the conversion, and lawsuits since. Read more »

The city of East Brewton, Alabama is working with the new owner of Dauphine’s Mobile Home Park to clean up the property. The park, recently taken back by note holder Lynn Pitts, is in a state of disrepair, and the city is working with the new owner to bring it into compliance with city codes. Read more »
